The open source section of this site consists of a short collection of HowTo's that needed to be solved while working on projects, and Downloads of some tools developed to solve some infrastructure problems. These are not repeats but either clarifications, updates or extensions to existing material. Open BenchmarksA collection of open source benchmarks on GitHub. All have been ported and run on a number of embedded platforms from ARM, PowerPC, MIPS, and x86.OpenBenchmarks - Benchmark source code, ported with Autotools, and includes run scripts to generate standard results. Repo Manifests - OpenEmbedded, Yocto. Repo, a Git tool used by Android, pulls source code from multiple locations to create new projects. DNP3 - SCADA Distributed Network Protocol 3. Industrial Control System used in water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, oil and gas pipelines, electrical power transmission and distribution, wind farms, civil defense siren systems. HowTo'sMost HowTo's add information on 'Why To' do something. I wrote these with the them of 'Just Do' it. Cut and Paste script sections that worked when written, and I will try to keep up to date. I write one when I needed to search beyond the standard HowTo's, pick between multiple alternatives, and do something easily that is bigger. I try to refer back to the howto's but am not perfect. Also, the HowTo Blog for notes to myself DownloadsDownload code and documentation in transit to another project, or just here if it's not for a wide audience. |
